What are the benefits of interlocking rubber mats?

One of the main benefits of using our Multilocktiles – interlocking floor tiles is the ease and speed of installation; many of our customers install the tiles themselves with no help. All you need to do is line them together and tap them in place, there is no need for any screed or adhesive.

What do you put under interlocking tiles?
Multilocktiles can be installed over a cleaned and dust free floors or surface – there’s no need to put anything underneath these tiles, this is what makes our tiles so convenient and virtually maintenance free.
Do interlocking tiles need grout?

Multilocktiles can be installed on or over virtually any floor and do not require any tile grouting whatsoever.

How many interlocking tiles do I need?

Start by mesuring the floor’s lenght and width. These numbers can be multiplied and the answer will give you the SQMs needed.
Ex. 2,5m x 3,5m = 8,75 SQMs

Simply lay our Multilocktiles on a clean, level surface and connect them by aligning the interlocking edges and pressing down firmly or hammering with a rubber mallet or hammer of choice.

Yes, our Multilocktiles are suitable for both residential and commercial spaces, such as homes, offices, gyms, garages, and other spaces.

How do I clean and maintain interlocking PVC tiles?

Your newley installed Multilocktiles should be swept or vacuumed regularly, and cleaned with a damp mop using mild detergent when needed.

Our Multilocktiles are not recommended for underfloor heating as this will lead to warping and bubbling due to the expanding and contracting nature of the product.

Our Multilocktiles are made from recyclable materials and can be recycled at the end of their lifespan.

What thicknesses and sizes are available for interlocking PVC tiles?
Interlocking PVC / Rubber Tiles come in various thicknesses and sizes, our Multilocktiles sizes are 500mm x 500mm x 5mm.
Can interlocking PVC tiles be easily cut and customized to fit my space?

When installing our Multilocktiles, you can use a ‘Stanley knife’, utility knife or a fine-tooth saw to easily cut and customize tiles to fit your space.  Keeping the tiles in a slightly cooler setting will make for easier cutting.

Do interlocking PVC tiles provide any sound or thermal insulation?
Our Multilocktiles do provide some sound and thermal insulation, but the extent varies depending on the specific product.
